投稿4月22日，由德必公交易園和中意設(shè)計(jì)交流中心主辦的美國藝術(shù)家Jaime Ekkens“無限網(wǎng)”藝術(shù)展在德必公交易園拉開帷幕。展覽將持續(xù)開放至5月6日。
On April 22nd, the "Infinity Nets" art exhibition by American artist Jaime Ekkens, organized by DoBe E-Manor Of Gongjiao and the Sino-Italian Design Exchange Center, opened at theDoBe E-Manor Of Gongjiao. The exhibition will be open until May 6th.
Jaime Ekkens是一位跨學(xué)科美國藝術(shù)家，曾在紐約市擔(dān)任動(dòng)作設(shè)計(jì)師并與多個(gè)知名媒體領(lǐng)域人士合作。她的獨(dú)立短片曾在世界各地100多個(gè)國際電影節(jié)上放映，并獲得多項(xiàng)評審團(tuán)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。此外，她的藝術(shù)作品曾在國內(nèi)外多個(gè)博物館和藝術(shù)空間展出，包括上海Creative Minds博物館、上海寶龍美術(shù)館、上海藝術(shù)收藏家博物館、上海Mao藝術(shù)空間、成都Wink藝術(shù)空間等。
Jaime Ekkens is an interdisciplinary American artist who previously worked as a motion designer in New York City and collaborated with various well-known media figures. Her independent short films have been screened at more than 100 international film festivals worldwide and have won multiple jury awards. Additionally, her artwork has been exhibited in various museums and art spaces both domestically and internationally, including the Museum of Creative Minds in Shanghai, Shanghai’s Powerlong Museums, Shanghai Art Collectors Museum, Mao Art Space Shanghai, Wink Art Space in Chengdu.
Ekkens在其作品中將收集記憶的過程呈現(xiàn)為物理形態(tài)，如篩選有價(jià)值的寶藏一樣。展出以海灘和水景為特色的系列藝術(shù)品，其中包括廈門、朱家溝、昆明、新疆和廣西等地的旅行拍攝作品。該系列作品主題延續(xù)了以前的藝術(shù)作品，使用類似的材料，如金和銀漆，并以紋理研究為特點(diǎn)。Ekkens還將繡花線作為隱喻，表達(dá)了自我修復(fù)的意象。
In her work, Ekkens presents the process of collecting memories in physical form, much like sifting through valuable treasures. The exhibition features a series of artworks characterized by beaches and water scenes, including travel photographs from Xiamen, Zhujia Gou, Kunming, Xinjiang, and Guangxi. The series continues the themes of her previous art works, using similar materials such as gold and silver paint and focusing on texture studies. Ekkens also uses embroidery thread as a metaphor to express the imagery of self-repair.
